Asset Management Policy

EnergyNetworks are committed to providing industry-leading performance for customers, to achieving world-class health and safety, and to delivering value for our shareholders. We shall do this in a legal, environmentally compliant, and sustainable manner; and to further our vision of a safe, healthy and enjoyable work environment that causes no harm to our employees, contractors, customers and other members of the public. We will deliver this through the efficient operation, maintenance and management of our physical assets, specifically:

  • Operating a zero accident culture;
  • Investing intelligently in our network to maintain the performance and condition of our physical assets and to respond to customer driven growth requirements;
  • Meeting or exceeding our key regulatory performance targets;
  • Using risk management techniques to safeguard the goals and objectives of our business;
  • Making continuous improvements; and
  • Ensuring environmental care is a consideration of our asset management activities.

EnergyNetworks are committed to ensuring our people who are delivering this policy:

  • Take personal ownership of results;
  • Aim to get it right first time, safely;
  • Are talented and supported in improving their skills and competencies; and
  • Respond in a fast and effective manner to customer needs.

All EnergyNetworks staff, contractors and service providers are responsible for ensuring this Asset Management Policy is fully realised in their work.
